Occular Enhancements

Thermal Sight –negates the penalty for darkness, smoke, fog, shadows and mist and range penalty attributed to a cameleoline cloak, the ambient temperature and the target must have a variance in temperature of at least 10 degrees or the IR will not work properly, sources of extreme heat, such as fire, lava and some vehicles engines will overwhelm the optics, making use impossible. Cannot see specific items unless they register as hot or cold areas including words, pictures or colors. A succesful Awareness test may be required to identify specific heat signatures. Can penetrate materials dependant on the level of the Scope.

Mk I -Penetrates up to 12 AP of material

Mk II -Penetrates up to 22 AP of material

Mk III -Penetrates up to 32 AP of material

Targeting Scope Mk I –A targeting scope is designed to assist in aiming, when used it provides an additional +5% to an attack test.

Targeting Scope Mk II –A targeting scope is designed to assist in aiming, when used it provides an additional +10% to an attack test

Photo-Chromatic Sight –negates the penalty for shadowy illumination. (Shadow Sight)

Infrared Sight–negates penalty for total darkness and shadows, uses infrared technology. (Dark Sight)

Telescopic Sight –reduces the penalty for firing at a small object by 20, negates penalty for long and extreme range (does not affect cameleoline range penalty), also allows the bonus from an aim action to be used for Per tests to notice enemies in an observed area.

Range Finder -provides accurate measurement of distances, vital for many Tactical abilities such as Artillery fire, Indirect fire and Air Support not to mention whether a target is in range of the weapon it may be atatched to.

Laser Designator -Basically a high powered Infrared Laser Sight this enhancement can be used to make a Called Shot with half of the penalty or to mark a target for properly equipped munitions. It is only visible in the infrared spectrum, providing the same bonus as a normal laser sight to the target if they are aware of the firer and/or see the red dot.

Auspex Enhancements

Bio Scanner -This complex device can be used for a number of purposes, mostly depending on the type of device it is installed into. It can be used to monitor a creatures medical condition, detect viruses or airborne bio weapons and spores or it can detect the presence of various programmed life forms.
Energy Scanner -Primarily used to detect the presence of or emission of energy, whether from weapons fire, power sources of vehicles, weapons or even armor. A visual display shows detailed analysis of the energy and/or its' source or simpler version buzz, beep or flash within proximity.
Radiation (Rad) Scanner -This unit can accurately measure the amount of radiation an area contains or a creature has bee exposed to. It can provide a detailed visual analysis or merely indicate varyin glevels with sounds or flashes.
Metallurgical Scanner -This device can detect the presence, location, size and/or quantity of various elemental solids, metal, soil, sand, rock, etc.
Motion Sensor -This unit can detect moving creatures showing them as blips on a display or indicating detection with a buzz or light.
Ultra Sound -The unit emits ulta high frequency pulses which renders a visual image of the scanned area, useful for locating creatures invisible or using stealth, can not see creatures currently phased.
Thermal Sensor -Similar to the Thermal Sight, this device detects and/or displays heat signatures, creatures, vehicles, aircraft, anything that gives off heat can register to this sensor. It is much more sensitive than the Thermal Sight, allowing a +/- 5 degree variance in temperature.
Seismic Sensor -This device can detect, record and analyze seismic activity, the closer to the ground it is the more accurate the reading, special probes can be used in conjunction, boosting the range and sensitivity even more.
Signal Locator -This unit is used to locate a signal broadcast from a radio, beacon or tracking device. The signal does not have to be constant though the less intermittent the broadcast the faster the tracking.
