Hope
is the closest thing to a capital Kassara has. A giant Hive of Off-worlder’s amongst primitive and tribal Humans and
Orks. Located far from most of the tribes, it is the one of the only Imperial Influences on the planet. It is around 1000
years old, completed in just over 10 years. Dresden Corp has completed restoration of the Primary functions of the Hive, it is now capable of supporting its 3 million inhabitants
with a steady and constant stream of Trade vessels. Due to its’ great size only one fifth of the Hive is actually being
used, all manner of dark rumors circulate about the abandoned levels. Star
Port The Star
Port is the highest Spire of the Hive and also the central point for the other sections. It is fully capable of berthing 6
Interstellar Cargo Haulers with room still for a squadron of bombers. Despite its’ size it doesn’t see much Interstellar
traffic, most visits are by System Haulers from the Zirgo Syndicate. The
Hive Proper The main
body of the Hive, this is directly under and around the Space Port, the size of it is staggering, much of it is sealed since
it is not needed and only used by the Legionnaires for training purposes and salvage. Raised platforms and open topped elevated
arteria connect the surrounding Towers, assisting in quick travel to most of the more commonly used areas. Market
Place -The market place is located beneath of the Star Port, many of the traders flying in for a few days to unload old cargo
to make room for new. Not much beyond the odd chem is produced to be distributed. While a lot of goods are available from
the vendors, restricted items, weapons and even some drugs can’t be bought on the open market, that niche being filled
by one of the few Fixers, experts at getting obscure and rare items, manpower and as a broker for individuals looking for
certain tasks performed by discreet professionals. The enforcers keep peace but do not monitor any of the transactions, there
is an occasional raid that is performed as a show to the Arbites guarding the Space Port. The Fighting
Arena –The planets is inhabited by all manner of dangerous creatures, some of the Legionnaires are given the opportunity
to fight in the pits for better perks such as accommodations, better food, medical care, equipment or just Thrones. Anyone
lawbreakers not dealt with by the Dresden Corps guards will usually end up here, although the holding cell area is being expanded
for the Corporations plan to use an unused section of the Hive for use as a Penal Work Colony, though they don’t like
the idea of Adeptus Arbites being stationed here. Under
Hive The Under
Hive is located beneath the Hive Proper, it has a number of Arteria throughout its’ levels stretching for kilometers,
these large underground mega highways were once used to facilitate easy transport of material for the initial construction
of the Towers. Most of the Hives major systems are located in the upper levels of the Under Hive, Sewage, Power, Atmosphere
and Water. Ivory
Tower Playground
for the wealthy residents of Hope as well as most of the upper management of the Dresden Corporation. A few private clubs
are the only attraction here, besides the lavish décor and marvelous architecture. The entire tower is floor upon floor of
luxury and decadence, residences of varying style and size. It is heavily guarded against intrusion and aggressors. Bronze
Tower These
are the Hab levels of the remainder of Hopes population. The higher the floor the better the conditions, ,the apartments here
range from truly deplorable to moderately cozy. It is used mostlt by outside contractors and visitors to Hope, containing
a number of rooms rentable for fixed durations of time. The market area caters to the majority of occupants, a weapon dealer,
clothier, armorer and a few rowdy bars. Silver
Tower This
tower is very secure, containing the offices and laboratories of the Dresden Corporation. Skitarri Elite Guard patrol the
tunnels and hallways amongst a bustle of scientists and technicians. Gold
Tower The majority
of the workers of the Dresden Corporation reside in these well maintained Habs, complete with shopping, entertainment and
educational facilities, most of Hopes residents rarely leave the Tower except to report for their work shift. Clinic
–The Medicae Facility is operated by a number of Tech Priests and medical servitors, they also sell a small supply of
drugs and chemicals to the general populace, after all it is a Death World. Imperial
Tower This
is one of the largest of the Towers occupied in Hope, it has its’ own dedicated hangar in the Star Port. It is made
up of a mixture of residences and offices, despite its large size only a small portion of it is being used. The only Imperial
influence on the planet is the Imperial Guard Penal Legion and their compulsory nursemaids. Discipline here is fairly lacking
amongst the troops, the Military Police able to monitor themselves, however the lowest levels of the hives are the Pits, where
the Legionnaires are kept until they are needed. This anarchic den of villainy is a free for all no holds barred maze of machinery
and pipes. All manner of illicit good can be located in the shadows of the pit There
are a few notable Imperial Administratum which reside in the upper penthouse suites, an Astropath, a Navigator Household,
six Nobles (vacation homes mostly) and a small precinct of Arbiters, though their authority is only the Space Port and the
upper levels of the Imperial Tower. Imperial
Garrison -This is the Planetary Regimental Command HQ for the 112th
Tanstar Imperial Guard, Military Police assigned to the detail of managing the Penal Legions. Haunted
Tower This
is the one tower that has not been re-inhabited. Strange colored lights and wailing screams can be heard at night when close,
initial attempts to renovate resulted in a number of mysterious deaths and disappearances. It has since fallen off the radar
since there is still more than enough room for the current residents of the other towers. It was not even considered for the
Penal Colony.
