Impact Plate –Impact weapons receive a powered hydraulic plate which increases the force of a blow, increasing damage by 2 and weapon loses the Primitive trait.

Shock Plate -Impact weapons receive a number of small conductive plates capable of delivering a shocking blow when contact is made with an object. The weapon gains the Shocking trait.

Monomolecular Edge –Rending weapons only, with a mono edge the weapon loses the primitive trait.

Vibro Blade –A precursor to powered technology, Vibro blades provide a +2 to a weapons penetration, the weapon loses the primitive trait.

Serrated Blade –Rending weapons only, the blade increases damage by +1 and soft armor with an AP less than 5 does not have its’ AP doubled against the damage, however the weapon retains the primitive quality.

Durable Materials –Weapon blades and shafts made of durable materials have the chance of them being broken by a power weapon or special talent reduced by half.

Dependable Motor –reduces the chance of a chain weapon to foul or malfunction. the weapon jams or fumbles on an attack roll of 98-00.

Hidden Blade –A small mechanical mechanism is located in one or both ends of the haft or pommel of a weapon, this can be a nasty surprise to opponents in melee combat. If you take a full action attacking  you may make a single resisted WS vs Per roll against one opponent you attacked that turn. If successful you do 1d5+SB damage ignoring half the armor in that location. You may use this only once per encounter, the element of surprise being lost after the first attack. If used as just a normal weapon it is treated as a knife with a -10% chance to any attacks made with it in addition to fighting with two weapons if applicable.

Hollowed Handle –The weapon has a hollow section within it in which small items may be stored inside or a component may be installed, ie; vox caster, grapple line, pict recorder, etc.

Hand Guard –Whether they are the flanged metal hooks of a sai or the gilded metal basket hilt of a scimitar or rapier, the weapon receives a +10% chance to parry melee attacks.

Balanced Handle –By adjusting the weight of the handle or adding a counterweight to the haft, the weapon gains the balanced trait.

Self Sharpener –Mounted on a chain weapon, this attachment keeps the teeth razor sharp inflicting +1 damage.

Diamondite Teeth –These Chain weapon teeth are made of Diamondite, one of the strongest alloys created, it adds +2 to armor penetration.

Splash Guard –An additional option for a chain weapon, it keeps most of the flesh and metal bits from befouling the chain mechanism. It also keeps the viscera and gore from the wielder’s eyes for particular critical hits.
